Imagine the aroma of a fresh cut Jalapeño  pepper.  That's what you get when you open a bottle of Jalapeño olive oil from the Nick Sciabica family.  Since 1936 this Californian family has made olive oil from the same land and trees for 4 generations.  The flavored olive oils are a relaltively new addition to their product line.  This extraordinary olive oil was produced by crushing and cold pressing fresh Mission variety olives with fresh Jalapeño peppers. This method produces flavor intensity that cannot be achieved by infusing with peppers after the olive oil has been produced. Bursting with fresh pepper flavor and a moderate amount of heat this olive oil adds zest to just about every dish.  Add to guacamole, drizzle over fish tacos, make garlic bread, add to barbecue sauce, and scramble up some eggs!  Use it to sauté string beans with garlic and salt and pepper then finish with a drizzle of aged balsamic vinegar.
