Fresh garlic grown by Glendale residents Terry and Doug Acree, on their farm in Vichy, near Rolla. The Acrees are life long gardeners and years ago discovered the joys of growing garlic. They specialize in old world European varieties, each with distinctive flavors and intensity. Harvested in July, Lukan garlic will last 8-10 months without refrigeration. Use raw or saute to season everything. Roast whole then spread on crusty bread for a tasty appetizer. The flavor is full, but mild with no bite. Sold individually.
